Sangha House NOLA is also a home to independent Buddhist Monastics and those seeking to live and practice in a contemplative way. It also serves as a ground for our community urban garden, and our engaged service as we respond to the needs of our community.

The Need
There is a pressing need for understanding and sanctuary where individuals can rest and reflect on the complexities of existence, and explore the depths of their inner world to find a truer freedom. Inviting access to be our full selves in Buddhist practice spaces are limited; many seekers long for a tangible and relative space where they can explore the Dharma and cultivate awakening that reflects and alleviates the sufferings of a vast range of lived experiences.

Sangha House NOLA is a Buddhist practice center that serves as a refuge for seekers of all backgrounds by providing a space where individuals can engage in contemplation, wisdom, truth teachings, and spiritual practice through a combination of meditations, Dharma talks, reflections, retreats, and community involvement. We aim to provide a space where individuals can find liberation from the ways of the world that empowers individuals to navigate life's challenges with love and resilience.

We need to raise $48,000 to cover our monthly expenses for one year and to complete our Dharma Hall. This allows us to build our local Sangha, support our monastics and continue to cultivate our studies, practice and well being.
